START WITH A HIKE!
PUSH Magazine is hosting its annual New Year Day Hike on January 1, 2025.
You will be a part of the 7th staging. We started in 2019 where we hiked 19kms.

The idea behind having a fitness event to start the year was to coincide with a lot of persons making fitness goals at that time, and being a lover of the outdoors, we just decided to host a hike annually!
This is a 'No Frills' (hikers are responsible for their own hydration and food) event that is open to the public of all ages. So tell a friend and bring a friend as we kick off 2025 by being in nature, enjoying some fresh air, discovering new places and cooling off under a lovely waterfall!
ABOUT THE TRAIL
We meet at The University of Technology at 5:30am where we will begin the hike. The route takes us along Gordon Town Road, Irish Town Road, and Maryland Roads. It will be a mixture of off-road and on-road terrain across the lush St. Andrew hillsides. The route will be mostly shaded and we pause for a while at the Gordon Town Waterfall before heading back to UTECH.
